Born in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn Jerry lived in Brooklyn for thirty years. He graduated from Brooklyn College in 1979 with a BA degree. He then attended the New York Restaurant School, in Manhattan and the day after the course work ended, he was hired as the Chef of Le MacAdam Restaurant, preparing California Cuisine in Paris, France.
Upon returning to New York, Jerry became the Chef of Hollis & Company in Greenwich Village. In 1986 he and Hollis moved to Southern California, where Hollis opened Parties By Panache. Jerry attended and graduated with a Juris Doctor from Western State University College of Law. In 2006 Jerry went to Cal State Fullerton and earned a Certificate in Fiction Writing.
A Field Guide To The Angels In Brooklyn was started in 2006. Jerry wrote and rewrote the story until January 2024. Jerry won an award for his book at the 2007 Santa Barbara Writers Conference.
After practicing law for thirty-two years Jerry retired in 2023. He now writes Urban Fantasy and Magic Realism. He lives with his wife Hollis in Orange County, California.
